Hand stitched to the upper curves of the heart is a matching set of handmade linen lace fragments that were rescued from the cuffs of a Victorian afternoon tea dress. They are light ivory and match the light ivory ribbon roses that adorn Rose Heart©.

The pillow measures about 7 1/2 inches long and about 8 1/2 inches across at the widest part of the heart not including the lace.The lace, which measures 2 1/2 inches wide is embroidered with flowers in pink and pale ivory. There is an organza hand strap on the back of the pillow made from pink ribbon that measures 1 1/2 inches wide.

Time to Get Colorful!

Nothing is more inspiring for me than sitting on the floor surrounded by colorful fabrics. When I'm low on inspiration-I open up the trunks and bins and start to rummage and in no time...an idea is born....

Today's idea is lavender, purple and pink....maybe some pearlyivory, whiteish something thrown in............... cupids....and gold....renaissancey cupids.......save that for tomorrow!
